This release brings a refreshed design across Lumi and a new launchpad on Overview, along with project access requests, electronic signatures and QA review in the Protocol Tracker. It also includes improvements to protocols, records, live video and seat management, plus fixes across the platform.

General

• Refreshed the design across the app, so buttons, form fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, tables, icons, date pickers and guided tours all share one consistent look, with clearer focus and error states

Overview

• Introduced a launchpad on Overview with one-click shortcuts to continue where you left off, run an AI Agent, start a Notebook project or create a protocol

Notebook

• Added short, copyable IDs (such as PRJ-26043) to projects, workspaces, records and protocols
• Introduced access requests for projects you can't open. Owners can approve or deny them from their notifications or the project's Members card, and organisation admins can review them all from a new Access requests tab
• Added protocol archiving, plus filters for status and owner on the protocols list
• Made getting set up easier by adding protocol previews when you create a workspace and step-by-step guidance in the Create Record wizard
• Added completion badges to vortexing steps, based on what was observed
• Made records and workspaces easier to scan by grouping spreadsheet ranges into one tabbed Data Tables card, moving selected references to the top, highlighting the selected Derived Records row and showing a single date for same-day workspaces

Protocol Tracker

• Introduced auto-advance, so completing an instruction starts the next one. A new settings menu on the Protocol Tracker lets you turn it off, and Reset Progress has moved there too
• Added electronic signatures for completed instructions, as performer or approver, shown on the tracker and in the Replayer
• Brought QA review into the Protocol Tracker: reviewers can record decisions there, operators can see the status and comments and redo rejected instructions, and the tracker updates live

LabOps

• Introduced automatic reconnects for live video, along with a badge that warns of a poor connection
• Changed cameras held back by your organisation's live camera limit to show as "Limited", with an explanation, instead of offline

Organisation

• Added seat usage to the invite dialog, with a warning before an invite would take you over your plan's limit

Fixes

General

• Fixed validation on sign-up, sign-in and invite forms, and removed the restriction on special characters in passwords
• Replaced errors with a clear "not authorised" message on pages and cards you don't have permission to see
• Fixed new workspaces and device statuses not showing up straight away
• Fixed a number of smaller issues across the app, including guided tours, profile pictures and card layouts

Notebook

• Fixed issues in the New Record and New Workspace wizards, and when editing protocols or creating new versions

Protocol Tracker

• Fixed several issues with stepping through protocols, including AI suggested completions, Reset Progress, the Resume button and the page jumping to the tracker

Clip Maker & Video

• Fixed video playback controls on device pages and in live view
• Added an explanation in Clip Maker when footage isn't ready, and stopped it reporting footage as missing when it exists
• Added confirmations and error messages when you stop or export from an AI agent
